Pesticide Formulation Manufacturing
Pesticide formulation is the process of mixing active ingredients (Technical Grade) with inert carriers, solvents, surfactants, or stabilizers to create a final product that is safe and effective for field use. These products come in various forms, including Emulsifiable Concentrates (EC), Wettable Powders (WP), Suspension Concentrates (SC), and Granules (G).
While the process is primarily physical (mixing and blending) rather than chemical synthesis, it involves the handling of hazardous substances, flammable solvents, and fine dust. The primary environmental challenges include wash-water management, dust emission control, and hazardous packaging waste disposal.

Our Specialized Services (Since 1990)
With over 35 years of expertise, San Envirotech ensures that your formulation unit operates without regulatory interruptions.
I. Pre-Operational Services (Planning & Approval Phase)
- Site Suitability Analysis: Evaluating land based on proximity to sensitive ecological zones and residential areas to minimize "Buffer Zone" conflicts.
- Dust & Vapor Control Design: Engineering high-efficiency Cyclone Separators, Bag Filters, and Scrubbers to manage particulates and solvent fumes during the blending process.
- Water Management Systems: Designing compact ETPs for treatment of "Wash-water" (from equipment cleaning) to meet Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) standards.
II. Operational Services (Compliance & Optimization)
- CCA/CTO Renewal & Product Mix Amendments: Providing swift support when adding new products or shifting from one formulation type to another.
- Hazardous Waste Compliance: Managing the lifecycle of contaminated HDPE bags, barrels, and expired chemicals under Form 4 and Form V filings.
- Annual Environmental Audits: Conducting periodic inspections to ensure bag filters and scrubbers are operating at the required efficiency levels.
- Safety & Mock Drill Planning: Assisting in the preparation of On-site Emergency Plans required for hazardous chemical handling.
III. Strategic Regulatory Guidance
- Categorization Support: Assisting units in navigating the shift between White, Green, Orange, and Red categories based on CPCB’s latest pollution index.
- Technical Liaison: Representing your unit during SPCB inspections and technical presentations, ensuring that your operational realities are accurately communicated to officials.
-
Policy Updates: Keeping you informed on the latest
