Advanced Industrial Wastewater Treatment (ETP) & Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Solutions

Overcoming the Compliance Challenge in High-Pollutant Sectors

The pharmaceutical, pesticide, and dye/dye-intermediate industries generate some of the most complex, toxic, and refractory wastewater in the industrial sector. With the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and State Pollution Control Boards (SPCBs) stringently enforcing Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) mandates and charter compliance, standard treatment methods are no longer sufficient.

We deliver specialized, end-to-end Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs) and thermal separation systems designed to handle high Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), high Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and non-biodegradable organic loads, guaranteeing uninterrupted regulatory compliance (CTE/CTO) and business continuity.

Our Core Technology Spectrum

Our engineering capabilities span the entire treatment train, from advanced primary oxidation to thermal crystallization:

1. Custom Industrial Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP)

We design and commission bespoke ETPs engineered for the specific molecular chemistry of your waste streams.

  • Pharmaceutical: Focused on the destruction of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and handling high-solvent, high-COD streams using Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) like Fenton’s and ozone systems, paired with specialized biological systems (MBBR/MBR).
  • Pesticides & Agrochemicals: Designed to degrade complex, toxic organophosphates, chlorinated compounds, and persistent organic pollutants (POPs) through targeted detoxification and robust multi-stage chemical precipitation.
  • Dyes & Dye Intermediates: Engineered to eliminate recalcitrant color, aromatic amines, and high-sulfate loads using specialized coagulation, electro-coagulation, and advanced anaerobic digestion.

2. High-Efficiency Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems

To maximize water recovery and minimize thermal load downstream, we deploy high-pressure, fouling-resistant membrane configurations.

  • Anti-Fouling Protocols: Advanced automated anti-scalant dosing and clean-in-place (CIP) cycles engineered specifically to handle organic foulants from pharma and dye complexes.
  • Permeate Reuse: Delivering high-quality recycled water directly back into cooling towers or utility processes, significantly reducing fresh water footprint.

3. Multiple Effect Evaporators (MEE)

For the concentration of high-TDS streams post-RO, our thermal evaporators are designed for maximum steam economy and operational uptime.

  • Configurations: Falling film, rising film, and forced circulation MEE systems optimized based on the boiling point elevation and scaling tendencies of your specific effluent.

4. Agitated Thin Film Dryers (ATFD) & Crystallizers

The final frontier of ZLD. We transform highly concentrated MEE concentrates into manageable, dry solids.

  • True ZLD Execution: Our ATFDs operate under precise vacuum and temperature controls, continuously scraping heat-transfer surfaces to prevent fouling by sticky dye or pesticide residues.
  • Salt Segregation: Engineered to handle complex mixed salts, yielding a dry, free-flowing cake (less than 10% moisture) ready for secured TSDF landfill disposal or co-processing.

5. Industrial Spray Drying Solutions

An efficient, single-stage alternative for specific high-concentration, high-calorific, or polymer-heavy waste streams.

  • Direct-to-Powder Conversion: Bypassing traditional multi-stage evaporation for targeted streams, atomizing the effluent instantly into a hot air stream.

Why Industrial Leaders Partner with Us

  • Turnkey EPC Capability: From initial treatability studies and pilot testing to statutory SPCB approvals, structural engineering, commissioning, and annual operation contracts (O&M).
  • Corrosion-Resistant Metallurgy: Given the aggressive nature of pesticide and dye intermediate streams, we utilize specialized materials of construction (Super Duplex, Hastelloy, Titanium, or highly robust FRP/rubber linings) to ensure long-term asset life.
  • Regulatory Peace of Mind: Our designs explicitly align with the latest CPCB guidelines, featuring seamless integration for online continuous effluent monitoring systems (OCEMS).
